Celebrating Missionary Rev. Choi Chang Hoan, Ph.D.: 40 Years of Mission in the Philippines It was a great honor to witness a Korean Missionary Rev. Choi Chang Hoan, Ph.D., together with his ever-supportive wife, being recognized for his 40 years of dedicated mission in the Philippines. During the 20th Anniversary of the Philippine Korean Senior Citizens Association and the 2024 Senior Citizen's Day Commemoration Ceremony, he was presented with a prestigious award from the Korean Senior Association in the Philippines for his outstanding contributions, particularly in education and health. As the Founder and President of Manila Theological College since 1985, Rev. Choi has tirelessly worked to improve the lives of Filipinos through education, living by the vision: "One Hand with the Bible, the Other Hand with Medicine." He established a Science High School, Theological programs as an Excellent School PACUCOA LEVEL 1 Formal Status, and a Doctor of Medicine program recognized in the World Medical Directory. Since its inception, 16 programs have been launched, helping many Filipinos and Asians pursue their dreams. A special mention to Mrs. Choi, whose unwavering support has played a crucial role in Rev. Choi's success. Thank you for allowing us to witness and celebrate this inspiring journey. Congratulations, Rev. Choi, on this well-deserved recognition!
